Design and sales are at the epicenter of this month’s deployments. Read on to learn about what’s new in the PhotoBiz platform this month.

In addition to adjusting font types, sizes, and colors on your website, you can now control letter spacing and line heights. These new controls are available for your menu, titles, headers, body copy, buttons, and more. We look forward to seeing what you design with these new options.

Sometimes people want more options than what’s offered in your photography packages. They may say, I love package A, but can it also include X? We have a solution. You can soon sell package add-ons through PhotoBiz Client Galleries. If you enable this option for a package, a flag will alert your customers that it is available and they can review the options and add them to their cart. Add-ons will also be available for product sales through Client Galleries.

We also made some updates to the email you can send to share a gallery with your clients. You now have the option to exclude instructions for setting up a custom app in the email. Not everyone wants to offer this option, and that’s ok. Now it’s your call if that’s included.

To help new clients get online, we launched a new quick start video series. From picking a template to publishing your sitemap, these guides will help you launch your website.

Our behind-the-scenes work this month included a new look for our system generated emails (to match our website and control panel), updates to our support ticket system, a handful of new fonts, and more.

There are even more new features and enhancements in the works. Here is a quick look at some projects in development:

Block-level font controls. Another round of font enhancements is in the works. This will give you the option to edit font settings within specific blocks of your website. Right now, all font controls are at the global level. The new block-level font controls will give you more options to customize your website page by page and block by block. It’s time to start imagining the possibilities.

Re-sort images in client galleries. If you upload images to client galleries in batches and want to change the order they appear to match the sequential order of their file names, you’ll appreciate the new “re-sort” option coming soon.

Let your clients reschedule appointments. You will soon have the option to let your clients reschedule their appointments booked with the PhotoBiz Scheduler. A rescheduling option is in the works. If you offer this option to your clients is up to you.
