We’ve spoken in the past about security, and the need to keep your site free from spam and bots that solicit messages that can be harmful to you and your clients. You may have seen “The Joe Miller bot”, or “those are my photos” messages. These messages and others plague the internet, searching for vulnerable sites.
Six months ago we added access to Google’s reCAPTCHA feature to our PhotoBiz 8 platform to help protect you from these harmful bots. With just a few simple steps you can enable this security feature on your website, but we’ve noticed not everyone has done this. To ensure the safety of your website and business, we’re now making efforts to do something no other company has done before on such a large scale — we’re activating Google reCAPTCHA for you.
We make every effort to protect our users.
That’s why our Passionate Support® team made plans to address the bots head-on. We are actively working on enabling reCAPTCHA on all accounts using the PhotoBiz 8 platform to protect your website and your account.
Thousands of our clients have already enabled Google reCAPTCHA on their sites, but we have thousands of others that still need this protection enabled. We’ll be working throughout the next few months to enable this feature for all current customers using PhotoBiz 8.
