In a world where moments often pass by in a blur, we treasure those like Emily Lauren of Emily Lauren Photography, who has mastered the art of seizing life's fleeting beauty and locking it within the confines of a camera lens.
"Photography is not just a passion; it's a way of life," Emily shares. Her journey as a professional photographer began in 2007, but her love affair with the art began much earlier. As a child, she watched her parents freeze moments in time through their photography, each with their unique photographic perspective.
"I watched my mom take photos on an older Canon film camera, and her Polaroid camera, and my Dad was a great photographer, too," Emily recalls. "I truly believe I get the best of my work from their hearts and eyes."
It's this deep-rooted appreciation for the beauty of life that fuels Emily's passion for photography. Her lens captures not just moments but stories – the laughter, the tears, the subtle glances that often go unnoticed. Her quest is to tell the story of life in all its raw and unfiltered glory.
"I want my photos to tell stories," Emily says. "To show the happy moments, the sad moments, the moments that no one notices."
