When we launched over 12 years ago, Pictage was "The Big Guy." We would go to a tradeshow and see the big Pictage booth and their rock star crew and hear about all the fun things they were doing. We aspired to have the following that Pictage had developed; we imagined how cool it would be to have user groups, parties, and buzz.

We respected and appreciated the leaders of Pictage and wanted our service - even though we had a different business model - to develop the same type of loyalty and community they had.

Everyone here at PhotoBiz is greatly saddened to see our respected competitor shut their doors. It is unimaginable for us how hard that decision was to make, and how hard it was to let go.

We do understand that in our industry it is very challenging to keep up with the changes, in not just the internet technology, but how it has driven changes in the way we do business, as well as the behavior of clients. We feel especially saddened by how this affects all of Pictage's current clients, employees, and vendors.

Pictage, we will miss you. Thank you for setting the bar high for us. Thank you for being an example to the industry and thank you for all the contributions you and your clients made in the community.

To any Pictage clients interested in checking out PhotoBiz:

We have an amazing team here that will help get you back up and running online. Already some Pictage users have transferred over to PhotoBiz, and we are grateful for the enthusiastic testimonials they have sent to us. We do not offer fulfillment but we have a beautiful, easy-to-use, and reliable platform.

We also understand the situation you have suddenly been placed in, so we are giving you 3 months to use PhotoBiz at no charge. We hope this will make the transition a little easier. I promise you will love our team, our products, and our service. It would be our privilege to serve you during these uncertain times.

A sad goodbye to our comrade,

Lauren
