One of the great things about the PhotoBiz platform is how the tools talk to each other, like Ecommerce and Client Galleries. Together these tools help you to sell prints, products, and services.

Client Galleries allows you to share custom private galleries with your customers. You can use these galleries for traditional client galleries, or you can enable the ability for people to purchase prints, products, and packages directly from galleries. This is a unique opportunity, not something customers experience every day, so sometimes they have questions. 

With this in mind, we’ve made this handy guide to help your customers make purchases from your galleries. We hope it will both help you understand what they see and do, and that you will share it with your customers. We prepared this video with that in mind.

You are welcome to embed this video on your site and include it in emails to your customers. To help you easily share this video with your customers, we also just launched a new pop-up option you can enable for client gallery events that feature this video.


How to enable a Client Gallery pop-up

There are now two Client Gallery tutorial pop-up options that you can enable in the Marketing tab. These new pop-ups feature the video above and are a great way to help your customers learn how to make purchases from Client Gallery events. 

 To enable, click on Pop-ups in the top menu (under Marketing) then select the new tab to create a new pop-up. You'll find the new templates in the Client Galleries Tutorials category. There is a full-length walkthrough video of how to use a Client gallery and purchase from it and also a shorter one just focused on the purchasing aspect. 

Here you are able to edit the message on the pop-up and preview it to see if you like the look of the pop-up. When you are ready to launch the pop-up, click publish (in the top right corner of the pop-up builder area). In this menu, you can select where you'd like the pop-up to be visible. Select Do Not Display in the Display in Builder section. In the Display in Client Galleries section, select All Categories or the specific category you'd like the pop-up to be visible. Then you can adjust the time it pops up, how frequently it pops up, and the expiration date (so that you don’t have to remember to come to turn it off). I recommend selecting a year far into the future, like 20 years, then click Publish.
